KENNETH M. "KENNY" BARHYDT, 80, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006 at home in Huntertown. Born in Kendallville, he was a Quality Comformance Manger with Phelps-Dodge Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1983. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran. Surviving are his wife, Rosalie Barhydt of Huntertown; sons, Kenneth (Cynthia) Barhydt Jr. of Grabill, Jeffery (Beth) Barhydt of Fremont, Scott (Laurie) Barhydt of Fort Wayne; daughter, Karen (Barry) Wynkoop of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Huff of New Carlisle, Ind. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Private family service. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
