Haller H Erekson was born in South Cottonwood, UT. He was the son of Peter who immigrated as a child from Hjelmeland, Norway and Mary Eckersley Erekson who immigrated from Oldham, England. He married Myrtle Miller on October 3, 1908. They had 6 children, Clinton, Doris, Theora "Ted", George, June and Don.
Haller and Myrtle owned and operated a farm in Vernal until his death in 1908. They had one of the finest stone block homes in Vernal which still stands and is occupied today.
Picture was taken around the time of his marriage to Myrtle Miller. Mom always said he had such blue, blue eyes.
