Kim Harrison was an extremely intelligent woman. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Northern Colorado and then went on to Colorado State University where she received her DVM. Kim loved animals but her heart belonged to any feline first. She opened a vet clinic and proudly wore "CAT DOC" on her car license plate. Her home was a safe haven for any stray cat in the neighborhood and she truly loved them all!
I grew up with Kimmie and we spent many visits in Elbert, CO where our maternal grandparents lived and died. She loved the quiet serenity of this sleepy secluded little town and we both loved the fact that it held so much family history. It is only fitting that she is laid to rest here in Elbert.
Kim died of colon cancer. If nothing else get tested! It caught her off guard.
