Griffith, age 67, of 1915 Pearson Avenue, passed away at the residence Tuesday at 3 p.m. Funeral procession will leave the residence Wednesday 1 p.m. Services and interment will be held at 3 .m. in Hopewell Cemetery, Hanceville, Ala. Enquire directing. Survived by his widow, Mrs. L.O. Griffith; 2 sons, C.J. and R.J. Griffith; 2 daughters, Mrs. Fred A. Gibson and Mrs. Clyde Caldwell, all of Birmingham; 2 brothers, A.A. Griffith, Cullman, Ala., and J.E. Griffith, Powderly, Ala.; 8 grandchildren. Mr. Griffith was employed by the L. & N. Railway for 25 years.
