Known as Jack never Walter. His Grandchildren called him Grandpa Jack. Beloved husband of Edna Heidt Blakemore (1896-1989). Had six children with his first wife Salome Anne Haaven Blakemore Autrand(1890-1975):William Blakemore
(1907-1983), Iver Blakemore(1909-1988), Walter Blakemore (1913-1975), Robert Blakemore (1915-1999), Victor Blakemore(1918-1924), Neldora Blakemore Clark (1920-1998), and Richard Blakemore (1930-present). Walter married Edna March 10, 1939. She had two daughters, Marian Heidt Seymour(1915-2001) and Pauline Heidt Burke (1922-2003) and one son, Carrol Heidt (1924-2008). Edna and Walter never had children together. Walter went to college in Berkley and get an engineering degree and worked as a refridgeration engineer aboard ship for a few years then ended up at Wagner's Meat Market in Stockton during the depression where he was the refridgeration engineer, and became a butcher and master sausage maker. In his later years he owned a butcher shop/marker in Hughson with his son Bill. He was the most beloved and missed person in his family. His grandchildren thought their Grandpa Jack was just the best person in the world. Edna's grandchildren felt the same way. He treated them the same way, he would call them every day after school just to see how their day was and talk to them. His heart was so big that it was fitting that it was the one organ to tire out from over-use. He had a major heart attack while having dinner with his step-daughter Marian and her family, he survived, but eventually his heart gave out and he died on Halloween 1957. After 50 Years Grandpa Jack is still Missed.
