William Dodson was the oldest son of Robert Dodson. He was the husband of Amelia S. (Brown) Dodson. They were married October 27, 1807. He was the father of Rev. Leonidas Dodson, Sr.

A Sailing Master in the U.S. Navy
Born 1786 Died 1833"
