Charles Glen Adams was killed in action Feb. 26, 1945 on Iwo Jima, Japan during World War II.

He was born in Galesburg, Neosho County, Kansas May 15, 1925.

He was serving with the 5th Marine Division.

Prior to joining the United States Marine Corp, he had enlisted in the Merchant Marines immediately after graduating from Chanute High School.
