Stephen Fedoush, 80, of Woodland Drive, New Kensington, died Wednesday (April 22, 1992) at home.
Born Oct. 22, 1911 in the North Bessemer section of Plum, he lived in Harmar before moving to New Kensington 40 years ago.
He was employed in the cooking utensil department at Alcoa in New Kensington for 37 years before retiring in 1971.
A World War II Army veteran, he was a staff sergeant with the 78th Fighter Squadron.
He was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington, was a charter member of Harmar Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Seventh Street Sportsmen's club of New Kensington.
Survivors include his wife, Sophia Jedlowski Fedoush; a daughter, Mrs Stephen (Pamela A.) Pastiva of Leechburg; two sisters, Elizabeth DeMeio of Harmar and Sister Miriam Michael with the Sisters of Charity in Pittsburgh; a brother, Rudolph Fedoush of Greensburg; and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Mizenko Fedoush; three brothers; and two sisters.
Friends were received at the Rusiewicz ARNOLD Funeral Home where a blessing service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Mary Church.
Burial will be in St Mary Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
