Paul was born April 12, 1930 in Hubbard, Ohio a son of Guido & Antonia Gagliardi Forte. He was a lifelong Hubbard resident and a 1949 graduate of Hubbard High School.
He was an operating engineer for 35 years at E.A. Kleese Company of Vienna, Ohio and a member of Local #66 Operating Engineers.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Hubbard; and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War where he earned the Soldier's Medal.
He loved spending time with his family and especially watching his grandchildren at sporting events.
He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Myrnice Tritt whom he married September 14, 1957; and his daughter Paula (John) Shelton of Hubbard; and two grandchildren Matthew Paul Shelton; and Nicholas Scott Shelton and Matt's close friend Lauren Miller. He also leaves his brother Vincent (Alice) Forte of Masury.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son David Forte; and his brother Alexander Forte.
There will be calling hours Sunday December 20th from 5-8 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
