Daughter of Henry Marshall Fullilove I and Lovely Asenath Jackson. She married Alfonza Greenwood Elder on December 16, 1869. They had four children. If you think that you are a descendant of this couple please contact me.Funeral services for Mrs A G Elder, age 70, who died at the home on Mitchell's Bridge road yesterday at 2:14 p m, will be held from the First Christian church this afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Dr S R Grubb, assisted by Rev Bruce Nay and Dr E L Hill. Interment will follow in Oconee cemetery.
Mrs Elder was a woman of lovable character and one of Athens' oldest citizens. She was the wife of Mr A G Elder, who survives her. Only a few weeks ago they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, an event that brought together a large number of relatives and friends of the aged couple and was a most happy occasion.
Other members of the family who survive Mrs Elder are a son, Charles P Elder; two daughters, Mrs A D Chaney of Jacksonville, Fla, and Miss Laura M Elder of the home address; a sister, Mrs A C Jackson of Watkinsville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
