MY MOTHER: Deaconess Carrie B. Harris of 2201 Airacobra St., Levittown, Pa departed this life Wednesday, October 15,1980 at the Delaware Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born October 8, 1913 in Armstrong, Alabama to Hannah Thomas and the late Harry Cariller. On August 13, 1930, she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and joined the St. Paul Baptist Church in Armstrong, Ala. After moving to Yardley, Pa. she became affiliated with the Huntingdon Valley Baptist Church in Huntingdon, Pa. She then moved to Bristol, Pa with her family where in 1963 she became a member of the Community Baptist Usher Board and eventually President, a member of the Helping Hand Society, Missionary Board, Pastor Aide and an active member of the Deaconess board until the time she became a shut in.

She leaves to mourn her husband, James, three daughters, Louise Sulu of Princeton, NJ, Dorothy Jean Harris of Levittown, Pa and Dollie Hargrove of Dexheim, Germany; and one son Lister Steve Harris of Bristol, Pa; her mother Hannah Webb of Levittown, Pa, three sisters, Johnnie L. Glenn of Cleveland, Ohio; Jessie Harris of Trevose, Pa., Annie Kate Martin of Bristol, Pa, two brothers Milton Webb of Levittown, Izear Webb of Trevose, she was preceded in death by two brothers,Glister Webb and William Webb, Jr.; and leaves to mourn seventeen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
