Clifton L. Clayton, 103 of Leslie went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2007.
He was born on October 11, 1903, to Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Clayton in Leslie, Arkansas.
He was a farmer and a member of the Welcome Home Church.
Clifton is preceded in death by his wife Bertha, one son Gwenn, and one grandson. At the time of Bertha's death, Clifton and Bertha had been married for 73 years.
Survivors include four sons: Roy, Lenn, and Junis all of Russellville and Clovis of Marshall, one daughter: Pauline McDaniel of Russellville, twelve grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren
