Charles L. KINCAID
NEWPORT NEWS - Charles L. Kincaid, 95, a native of Summers Co., W.Va., died Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Formerly of Norfolk and Chesapeake, he was a Peninsula resident at The Chesapeake for the past nine years.
Mr. Kincaid retired from Naval Aviation Depot prior to working with VSE. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Hampton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ophelia Kincaid; a son, Chuck Kincaid; and stepson, John Mark Newman.
Survivors include his wife, Opal M. Kincaid; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Bob Yeates, of Williamsburg; a stepson, Patrick O'Bryan, of Florida; grandchildren, Kathleen and Ryan Yeates, Jennifer, Jessica and Jonathan, and Todd, Michelle, Sean and Christopher; and nieces and nephews, Ricky and Lois Jean, Ellen and Tommy, Pat and Frank, Dallas Wayne and Troy, and their children.
The family will receive friends at noon Friday, May 18, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home by the Rev.
