Will Kay Green, Jr., son of the late Mae Pearl Green Ware and Will Kay Green, Sr. was born September 5, 1941 in Essex County, Virginia. He departed this life February 23, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.

"Diddie" as he was fondly called accepted the Lord at an early age. He was baptized at Ebenezer in Supply, VA. He was married to the late Betty Ann Lomax and this union was blessed with three children. Later he was joined in holy matrimony to Irmentrud and they were happily married until his death.

Diddie was educated in the Essex County public schools. He worked in Northern Virginia for a number of years, last working for Metro.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed being around his family and friends at Horn's Restaurant drinking coffee, joking and just enjoyed life.

Servant of God well done, rest from thou love employed, the battle is fought the victory is won, enter thy master's joy.

Diddie leaves to cherish fond memories his loving and caring wife: Irmentrud "Truttie"; two sons: Will Davis and Jannie; three daughters: Marion, Lisa and Janet; five step-children: Betty Sue, Dottie, James, Allen and Michael; one sister: Marion H. Lomax; one brother: Louis W. Green; one sister-in-law and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends.
