LYNELLE RANKIN WALDEN Age 47 leaves her husband, Kip Walden; mother, June Rankin; brother, Dennis Rankin and his wife, Patty; Dennis' son, Tim and wife, Denise and daughter, Tammy Conover and husband, Clark. She has many friends and cousins in Oregon including John Caughorn. She is survived by cousins, Ron James, Mark, Jeff and Karen Kissinger. In San Leandro there are a host of friends, especially Fawn Bailey and family. She leaves behind the whole Walden family; stepson, Michael Kuebler and stepgrandsons, Jordan and Jackson, Kasey Wade and her husband, Doug and their sons, Josh, Jake and Riley, Kris Walden and his wife, Denice and daughter, Nicole, Kirk Walden and his wife, Linda and their stepson, Nicky, Shane Walden and his wife, Gina and daughter, Ashley. She lived in San Leandro, graduating from Pacific High School. Lyn was part of the San Leandro Royal Family marching unit, Past Honored Queen of Bethel #175 IOJD, and was a 25-year member of Eastern Star in San Leandro. She never transferred her membership from the United Methodist Church in San Leandro. Lynelle was a journeyman printer, with a specialty in matching colors. Her love of animals and nature, guided by her deceased father, George, influenced her becoming a veterinarian's assistant. When she moved to Coos Bay, Oregon she became involved in the Culture Committee of her Grandma Rankin's Tribe, participating in tribal trips to museums and other places to claim items belonging to her tribe. Learning Native American customs and guiding younger members was exciting. A memorial service will be held on July 22nd at the Tribal Hall in Coos Bay, Oregon. A memorial in Lynelle Walden's name has been established at the Cultural Committee of: Confederated Tribes of Coos Bay, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw, 1245 Fulton Avenue, Coos Bay, OR 97420.

Lynelle was previously married to (and divorced from) Stanley Kimo Dias. She succumbed to a pulmonary embolism.
