Rebecca was the daughter of John and Abigale (Griffith) Haydock. She married Absolom Hinshaw, Sr. on April 15, 1748 in Grange, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The Quaker Meeting located in Grange provided a certificate dated 3-13-1768 for "Rebekah Hinshaw, wife of Absolem, & daughter Elizabeth". Cane Creek Monthly Meeting received the travelers.
