The death certificate gives his parents' names as Peter Weber and Jessie Armstrong, though other records show his mother's maiden names as Mattix or Mattox. The informant was Peter Weber. "Eddie Weber, 26 years old, 216 West Main Street, New Albany, died at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon a the Clark County Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville of complications developing from injuries he suffered in a street fight in Jeffersonville early Tuesday morning. Weber is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Weber; three brothers, Charles, Carl and George Weber, three sisters, Mrs. Stanley Blunk, Mrs. Edward Campbell and Mrs. Willis Hopewell, the latter of Louisville. He was a member of Centenary Methodist Episcopal Church of New Albany." Note - Mrs. Stanley Blunk was Lula Weber Blunk.
