Obituary for Vivian R. Bloodsworth

Vivian R. Bloodsworth, age 89 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 in the Taylor Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in the Stubbs Cemetery. Reverend Chuck Taylor and Reverend Jim Faircloth will officiate.

Mrs. Bloodsworth was born on November 23, 1924 in Pineview. She was daughter of the late Grady Rhodes and Irene Elizabeth Powers Rhodes. She was a retired bookkeeper with the Wilcox County School System. She was a member of the Abbeville First Baptist Church and the Euzealian Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bloodsworth, a son, Jimmy Bloodsworth and a sister, Lilian Royal.

Survivors include: sons-Charles (Stephanie) Bloodsworth of Abbeville and Kyle (Sylvia) Bloodsworh of Abbeville, brother-James (Wanda) Rhodes of Rochelle, sister-Melba Ruth Hamlin of Albany, 3-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 31st in the funeral home.
