E. H. Anderson dies after long illness
Ernest Hubert Anderson, age 79, of Quitman, died Saturday, January 1, 1994, in the Pinehill Nursing Home near Quitman after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Rev. Wayne Morrow conducted the services.
Burial was in the Antioch cemetery near Quitman under the direction of Southern Funeral home of Jonesboro.
Survivors include three brothers, John Anderson and wife, Doyce of Monroe: Algon Anderson and wife, Helen of Cloverdale, CA: J. C. Anderson and wife Earl of Ansley:
Two sisters in law, Peggy Anderson of Orange, TX and Louise Anderson of Quitman: a number of Nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents W.C. and Lena Anderson: one sister, Mattie Ola; and two brothers, Marshal W. Anderson and George Allen Anderson.
Pallbearers were Charles Anderson, Sam Lamkin, Larry Anderson Jr., James Anderson and Mike Anderson
