BARIBAULT. William P. Baribault, 74, of Tryon Street, South Glastonbury, husband of Martha (Kinne) Baribault, died Sunday (Feb. 25) at home. Born in New Haven, he had been a long-time resident of Glastonbury, and had lived in South Glastonbury for more than 40 years. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he was a Central Office Repairman for SNET Co. for 38 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post in Glastonbury, St. Luke's Church, South Glastonbury, was an active parent in the Glastonbury Pony Club, and was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Lillian Baribault of Glendale, AZ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Stephen Peterson of Tolland, and Mary and Roger Stearns of Erieville, NY; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Delores Baribault of South Windsor, Philip and Frances Baribault; Walter and Theresa Baribault; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Baribault, all of Glastonbury; three grandchildren, Nicole Swaney of Glastonbury, and Justin and Michelle Baribault of Glendale, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Louis Baribault.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, 11 a.m., at St. Luke's Church, South Glastonbury. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Old Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Tuesday, Feb. 27, 4-8 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 915 Main St., South Glastonbury 06073.
