Bonnie L. Bargloff

Bonnie L. Bargloff, 81 of Boone, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Ogden Manor in Ogden, Iowa.
Bonnie was born in Boone on January 28, 1931.
She attended Boone schools and graduated from Boone High in 1949.
Bonnie worked at Heinrich Envelope Company in Boone as a machine operator for over 45 years. She also worked part-time at Northwest Greenhouse for many years.
Bonnie grew up around the family business (Shaffer Greenhouse) where she acquired her love of growing flowers and vegetables. For over 20 years,she enjoyed planting a large garden producing many different vegetables for her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing the lottery, especially the scratch tickets, being very lucky at times.
Precious to Bonnie was her cat, Katy, that kept her company for 17 years. Bonnie is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Goldie (Shaffer) and Lyle Dorrell.
Bonnie is survived by, her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bill Bushore of Boone; her son, Kenny Bargloff of Boone; 5 grandchildren, Nicole Bushore, Joel Bushore, Kelsey Rutzen and husband, Dustin, Bailey Bargloff and Connor Bargloff, all of Boone; her sisters, Betty VanGorden of Guthrie Center, and Jolene Wisecup of Ogden and her aunt Hazel Shaffer of Lake View, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Following cremation, interment will be at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.
