Tonya Lynn Broadhurst (nee Owens) of Leasburg, MO, formerly of Bland, died Sunday morning, July 10, 2011.

She was born December 2, 1977 in Sullivan, MO, the daughter of John Owens and Ida Ziegler. Tonya graduated from the Belle High School. Tonya married Daniel Broadhurst September 23, 1995. Thy have one daughter, Amanda.

Tonya worked for the nursing home in Linn and the Sonic Restaurant in St. James. She was a member of the Bland Volunteer Fire Department. Tonya was a housewife and mother.

Surviving Tonya is her husband Daniel and daughter, Amanda. Also surviving is her mother, Ida (Albert) Rowen; four brothers, Johnny, Sam, William and James Owens; and seven sisters, Tina Clark, Gayle Owens, Barabara Hays, Beth Yeager, Tammy Rowen, Lisa Rowen and Nicole Bray.

Services for Tonya were held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in the Sassmann's Chapel in Bland. Burial was in the Bland Union Cemetery.
