Jackie Barker
LANCASTER - Services for Jacqueline "Jackie" Schooler Barker, 79, of Conns Lane, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Browning. She died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 26, 1927, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Grover P. and Elveree Hurt Schooler. She was a retired Garrard County school bus driver, a member of Lancaster Christian Church and longtime Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Barker; three daughters, Sandra Henderson and Pat Barker, both of Lancaster, and Pam Poff of Kingsport, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Maupin, Felix Reynolds, Ray Johnica, Clyde Merida Jr., Melvin Wesley and Hollis Bolton. Honorary pallbearers are Lyndsey Schooler, Christa and Alana Minor, Courtney and Christopher Henderson, and Brandon Poff. Visitation is 5-9
p.m. today.
