McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Marguerite Argo, age 85, was born January 26, 1920 and died January 13, 2006 following an extended illness. A long-time employee of the McMinnville Garment Co. as a seamstress and a member of the Northcutt Cove Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George Oscar and Clara Coppinger Wimberly, Sr. She was married to Glen Louis Argo who preceded her in death in 1973. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Velma Roberts, Clara Rhea, Peggy Taylor, Edgar Wimberly, Oscar Wimberly, Jr. and Mack Wimberly. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Alton Woodlee of Rock Island; grandchildren, Jeff and Regina Woodlee and Beth and Lee Martin both of McMinnville; great-grandchildren, Micah and Ashlee Martin, Mitchell Woodlee, and Courtney and Haley Bouldin all of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Faye Miller and Frances Crum also survive. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006 in High's Chapel with R. S. Rigney and Alvin Pegg officiating. Burial followed in the Armstrong Cemetery.
