Jane (Walker) Hays was the daughter of John & Mary Ann (Blackburn) Walker. She married Cap John Hays on 13 Aug 1771, as the second wife of Capt. John Hays, Jr (1730-1796).

They had 10 children: Anna b.1772 , William b.1774, Isabella , Robert d.1843, Thomas 1846, Richard d.1856, Samuel d.1850, Mary d.1851, Joseph d.1795, and Rebecca Hays d.1840.

Not to be confused with Jane (Teas) Hays, wife of John K. Hays. Records show 3 different Jane(s) married 3 different John Hays. All various sources.
