PASSED AWAY at Home OF DAUGHTER, TUESDAY
Formerly Lived in Teutopolis and Was a miller at the Uptmor and Sterner Mill
Word was received by relatives of the death of Ben Nacke, 70 years of age, of Cottonwood, Idaho, Idaho, USA. He died Tuesday July 21, 1936 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Robert Stone, Harrington, Lincoln, Washington, USA. He was buried at that place Thursday morning at 8 o'clock
Mr. Nacke was born at Teutopolis, September 19th, 1865. He worked for Uptmor & Siemer as miller for a number of years, and then moved to Altamont and from there to Cottonwood, Idaho, Idaho, USA. He was married to Elisabeth Nuxoll of Teutopolis who with three daughters and one son survive him. He also leaves one sister Mrs. Barney Schoenhoff of Teutopolis. Mr. Nacke had been in failing health I for the past year. He will be remembered by many of the older citizens of this village.

Nacke, Bernard
Bernard Nacke, resident of Cottonwood, Idaho for 27 years, where he was active until the past two years, passed away here at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Stone, Tuesday at 8:30 AM.
Mr. Nacke had been ill a long time, having undergone an operation last fall in a Lewiston hospital where he was confined seven weeks. He and Mrs. Nacke came to Harrington as soon thereafter as he was able to make the trip and he has been at the Stone home. Only the last two weeks was he confined to his bed although he had not been out of the apartment since entering it eight months ago.
Mr. Nacke was born Sept 19, 1865 at Teutopolis, IL, where he grew up and was married. When he came west, he and his family came directly to Cottonwood, Idaho. Funeral services were held here Thursday at 8 AM from St Francis church with the Rev James Coleman officiating. Pallbearers were F. E. Murray, Clarence Gooley, Charles E Moore, George Norin, John Taylor, and E. W. Huber. Interment was in St Francis Cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Nacke are his widow, Elizabeth, 3 daughters, Mrs. G. C. Richardson of Bellingham, Miss Kathern Nacke, Portland, and Mrs. Stone; and one son F. H. Nacke, Seattle.
