Was Killed on March 18th 1876 While trying to save his Comrades in the Knickerbocker Shaft Fire.
His Friends put up a stone in his Honor in the Gold Hill Cemetery.
It is sad that Time & Vandals have knocked over and smashed this stone that honored this Brave Man.
But with the Help of others it will be restored.
