She married her first husband Francesco or Frank Fariello in Toritto. Frank was policeman in Toritto. Together they had a son, their first and only child, Paolo or Paul Fariello born on December 17, 1879 in Toritto, Italy.
In 1881, Frank died leaving Maria to raise their two year old son Paul.
About 1883, Maria met and married Corrado Andriani in Toritto. Corrado was also born in Toritto.
Maria and Corrado had three children all born in Toritto. Their children were Ignazio Andriani born May 5, 1885, Maria Antonia a/k/a as Marie Antoinette Andriani-Volpe born in 1886, and in Nicola a/k/a Nicholas Andriani born June 24, 1888.
Paolo Fariello, Maria's oldest son, was the first to immigrate to America. Once Paul became established in the United States, he sent for his wife, Nancy a/k/a Nunzia Lorusso, and their son Frank Fariello, both of who were born and lived in Toritto, Italy.
The remainder of Maria's children eventually followed their half-brother Paul Fariello to America.
Maria remained her entire life in Toritto, Italy where she was employed as a matron at a school in Toritto.
