Mrs. Severine Berg, 74-year-old pioneer of Polk county, died of pneumonia at her farm home near Climax Saturday morning. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 1 p.m. from her home and at 1:30 p.m. from the Nebe church with burial in the Nebe cemetery. Rev. Christiansen will officiate.
Mrs. Berg was born in Norway in 1855 and migrated to America in 1884, coming almost immediately to Polk County. She is survived by her two brothers, Martin and H. H. Hanstad, both of Climax; one son, Hans Berg of Climax and five daughters, Mrs. K. Stortroen, Mrs. Arthur Thompson, Mrs. Helmer Bangen, Mrs. Einar Thune of Climax and Mrs. Anton Bangen of Sanish, N.D.
