Kay Kenton Sheel, age 73, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 . Kay was born July 12, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Frank (Roy) and Wilma Sheel. Kay was the third son in this family of six children. His family moved to Colorado when he was young residing in LaJunta, Colorado. He attended LaJunta public schools. He married Nadine Eggert in 1959. There were two sons from this union.
Kay was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lowell John (LJ) and his sons; Kenneth and Robert Sheel.
Service was held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, September 5, 2012 with full military honors.
