Services for Brandon James Adkins, age 22 of Beaumont, Texas will be 2pm Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas.

Burial following at Magnolia Cemetery in Holly Springs.

Brandon died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

A resident of Beaumont, he was a former longtime resident of Jasper. A 2004 Jasper High School graduate he worked at Elijah's Café for many years. He currently worked as a Federal Correctional Officer at the Federal Correctional Complex in Beaumont and loved every minute of it.

He was a peacemaker and a friend to everyone. To know him was to love him. He was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, godfather, brother-in-law, nephew, son-in-law, cousin and friend.

Survivors include his wife and best friend, Hope Riley Adkins of Beaumont, his parents, James and Johnnie Mae Adkins of Jasper, three brothers, Joseph Adkins and wife Jody of Silsbee, Texas, Javier Saenz of Jasper and Andrew Pearson III of Beaumont, his sister, Michelle Wood amd husband Cody of Jasper, his Godson, Kristopher Nolan Riley of Silsbee, his two nieces, Skyler West of Silsbee and Selissa Wood of Leesville, Louisiana, nephew Brent Wood of Jasper and a host of friends including Matthew Kline, Andy and Amy Etheridge and Sean Isom. He loved his family more than anything and truly made every second count.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents John E and Verna Maye Jones (90564634) and Cordell (50465751) and Janey Adkins (50465773) .
