Mrs. H. P. Andersen, residing two and one-half miles north of Lake Benton, in Diamond Lake township, died Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the age of 75 years. Deceased was born in Denmark and came to this country about 12 years ago, locating in California. She came to Lake Benton six years ago, living with her son, Mathias Andersen. Her husband died 27 years ago in Denmark. Seven children survive to mourn her loss, viz: Mrs. S. M. Meyer . and Mrs. A.J. Nelson . Miss. Martha and Mathias, of Diamond Lake; Peter, of Watsonville, California, and two children in Denmark. Deceased was a kind lovable Christian woman, but her highest worth and that which makes her death so sad to her children, was that she was a good mother. The funeral services will be held at the Danish church north of town this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and will be conducted by Rev. Henicksen. The body will be interred in the Danish cemetery. The surviving relatives have the sympathy of all who knew the kind and gentle departed soul.
