Born in Varnell, Ga, she moved to Central Florida in 1940. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, DeLand. She was a member of the DeLand Gem and Mineral Club. Survivors: husband, Quinton; daughters, Wanda Mizzell, Wilma, both of DeLand, Winifred Wells, Fayetteville, N.C.; brothers, John Carver, Barberville, Troy Carver, Bill Carver, both of Fort White; sisters, Beatrice Warren, DeLand, June Rowe, Lake City; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
