Daughter of Laura Ames Maas and the late Melvin Maas, Lisa was a 2007 graduate of Harbor Creek High School, where she was a member of the school's Academic Sports team for four years and was the lead student for the varsity level in her last year. She was also a member of the Huskies softball team.
Most recently, she was a student at the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute and worked at the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Place hotel.
Besides her mother, Lisa is survived by two sisters, Kelly and Melanie Maas; her paternal grandmother, Shirley Maas; Aunt Vicki Carson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
According to her obituary, Lisa "would want us to remember her life and how she touched everyone she knew with the invaluable traits that made her that very special person. In what seems like an ugly world, Lisa was able to not only find the good in it, but the good in everyone she encountered."

Lisa's memorial marker should be in place by October 15---Section 11. Thanks for all who visit.
