My great grandma.
It was when I started my family tree, I discoved she was also, my great aunt, on my paternal side!

She was 4 months shy of being 102 yr.s old!

My great Grandma lived a long, extrodenary life. She loved fishing, and crocheting, and was loved by many.
The stories she could have told me, about, my famliy history! if only I was interested enough, to have wanted to hear, at the time!!!!!
Guess that is "youth" for ya, sometimes.

LEWISBURG — Mrs. Charlotte Edde, 101, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday morning at NHC Merihil Healthcare.

Mrs. Edde is survived in Greeneville by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a native of Kentucky, a daughter of the late Willard
and Mary Looney Metcalf, formerly of Greeneville.

Mrs. Edde was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Additional survivors include three daughters: Ruth Harrell, Mary Hollingsworth, and Irene Mathews, all of Lewisburg; four sons: William Edde and Robert Edde, both of Pulaski, and Roy Edde and J.D. Edde, both of Lewisburg; 37 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; 55 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild.

The funeral service was held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at London Funeral Chapel in Lewisburg with interment in Lone
Oak Cemetery.
