His love for music was endless: with just three notes he could tell you the name of the song, artist, and writer and when the song was recorded. His favorite NASCAR driver was Mark Martin and his favorite NFL team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mark is survived by his children, Elizabeth Rogers, Sharon Miskill, Heather Miskill, Margaret McNutt, Jaquelynn Miskill, Mark Jeffers Jr. and Sarah Jeffers; parents, Sherman and Jo Ann Jeffers; brothers, Michael Jeffers (Debbie) and Eric Jeffers (Leigh). He is also survived by his companion, Crystal Frazier; seven nephews and 10 grandchildren.
Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. Family will receive friends Monday, April 22, 2013, at Family Choice Funerals and Cremations, 4922 Valley View Blvd., Roanoke, from 6 to 8 p.m.
