"HEAD CRUSHED IN AN ELEVATOR

Foreigner Caught as He Passes Upwards Between Floors

Husband and Wife Had Been in This Country But Short Time

John Rady, aged 24, 80 West Ceder street, a foreigner, was almost instantly killed at 5 o'clock Friday evening by being crushed in an elevator at the Diamond Rubber company where he was employed as a laborer.

Rady, riding in the elevator, thrust his head out of the door, and while doing so was struck on the head as he passed the floor above. Death resulted almost instantly. He was married.

The young couple had only been in this country a few months and were planning on returning to the old country as soon as they were able. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made."
