Annie Lucinda Robertson was born in 1891 in Turner, Marion County, Oregon,to Benjamin E. Robertson and Amy Simmons. On June 30, 1908, she married Elmer Lorenzo (Ren) Ashford, son of William Haemer Ashford and Amanda Jane Sullivan. They had five children:
Amy Ashford born in 1913
Harold Ashford born in 1914
James Ashford born in 1916
William Lawrence (Larry) Ashford born in 1918.
A baby boy born prematurely who died shortly after birth in April 1924.

At the time of her death on December 24, 1946, Annie was 55 years old, and resided in Scio, Linn County, Oregon, with her husband Ren Ashford. She was survived by a brother Arthur Robertson.
