Note: My Recollections of Anna - she was a sweet elderly lady, when I first met her in the parsonage of the church in Russellville. She had come for a visit to church that weekend and arrived to the pastor's house just moments after my family had arrived from NC. She later moved from Tennessee and become a regular attendee at the church. She had attended the church off and on over the years under the pastorate of Rev. Buford Burgess. She was a quiet and peaceable person, and gifted with her hands. She made some of the most delicate and ornate quilts I have ever seen, and I have watched my relatives make them. Just to make these completely by hand would have required remarkable skill and patients. I remember that she never judged others outwardly. She simply accepted you as you were and imparted a sense of belonging. I will never forget Anna Baldwin. May she abide in God's rest forever.
