Ira passed suddenly from a cerebral hemmorhage Sept 25, 1981. He was preceded by the love of his life, Vera C [Burgess] in 1979. They had a life of love and joy in raising 11 of their 13 children. They sadly lost Robert Leroy as an infant 1937, but they went on to have more and they again lost a daughter Donna Mae as an infant in 1950.Tragedy befell again when they lost son James Edward, just 23yrs, to a vehicular accident in 1972. They loved deep and well to gently guide their 11 children and were fortunate to have been part of the lives of their grandchildren as they came along. A life rich in family and love was, and still is, felt by all. Ira is survived by 10 of his children who shall pass his lessons, his love and his stories on to them.
