She was a 6th generation native Texan. She was raised in the Von Ormy-Somerset, Texas area.
She liked all kinds of sports. She played basketball and softball in high school.
She was a school teacher for 39 years. She taught and coached a variety of sports at Three Rivers, Seguin, and Robert E Lee High School in San Antonio. She also taught Science at Eisenhower Middle School in San Antonio. She was well respected by her colleagues and students; many of which remained in contact with her.
She was a very kind and giving person. Her interests were: Genealogy, Texas History, and Flowers. She loved her family and all animals, especially cats. She was a member of the Daughters of the Texas Republic.
Judy was survived by: a brother, numerous nieces and nephews; and her long time friend, Beth Walker.
Visitation was on June 4, 2012 at 5:30pm at Porter Loring North Chapel with Rosary to follow.
Funeral services were on June 5, 2012 at Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel at 17501 Nacogdoches Road. Entombment followed in the Holy Cross Mausoleum.
