Flora Candland Cloward, 80, 542 E. 13th South, died June 8, 1971, in a local nursing home of natural causes.
Born Aug. 27, 1890, Moroni, Sanpete County, to David Harry and Phebe Maiben Candland. Married Lewis Lynn Cloward, July 10, 1912, Manti Temple. He died March 22, 1968. Member, McKay Ward; past president and secretary of ward Relief Society; member DUP, McKay Camp.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Howard (Maxine) Dennis, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Helen Brewer, Greenbelt, Md.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth E., D. Leland, both Salt Lake City.
Funeral Friday, noon, McKay Ward chapel. Friends call Thursday 6-8 p.m., 36 E. 7th South, and Friday at the chapel one hour before services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
