The body was brought to Lockhart on the 3:18 p.m. train Saturday afternoon and was taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George R. Alexander near McMahan, and on Sunday afternoon at four o'clock was buried in Jeffrey Grave Yard. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S.B. Johnston, pastor of the Lockhart Methodist Church.
Sympathizing friends covered the grave with beautiful flowers.
Luther Alexander was born near McMahan March 2, 1897. He was married to Miss Hattie Sites March 12, 1918. To this union was born a daughter who with her mother survives.
Deceased is also survived by his parents, six brothers and two sisters.
He was a member of the Clarks Chapel Methodist Church."
