Bridget Luddy Andrews was the daughter of John Luddy (1837-1899) and Hanorah Dwyer (1847-1920). John immigrated in 1852 from Tipperary, Ireland. He was also a Civil War veteran, serving 1862-1865. Hanorah immigrated from Ireland in either 1855 or 1865. John & Hanorah Luddy married in 1866 and had 11 children. Bridget was born in Vermont, but lived most of her life in Washington County New York.
In the early 1900's Bridget married Nicholas William Andrews, also of Cambridge, NY and they had six children:
