Madge G. Alverson age 93, formerly of Dardanelle passed away Monday, January 3, 2020 at Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born November 26, 1926 at Chula, Arkansas to the late Dewey Marberry and Gurstal Skaggs Marberry. She was a former member of the Mt. George Church of Christ and a member of the West Side Church of Christ. She lived a life serving God and devoting herself to her family and putting everyone first.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; husband, Herbert H. Alverson; one brother, Millard Earwood; two sisters, Anna Stubbs and Carmelita Hill.

Survivors include her four children, Larry Alverson (Sandra), Beverly Widders (John), Carol Jones, Doug Alverson (Stacy); one brother, Johnny James Earwood (Brenda); eight grandchildren, Shane, Shandel and Shandy Alverson, Kristi Levels, Wende Goode, Ashley Widders, Dalton Alverson, Whitney Adkins; fourteen great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Chris George officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Petillo Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shane Alverson, Shandel Alverson, Shandy Alverson, Dalton Alverson, Terry Levels and Tyler Goode.
