Jersey City
Hudson County
New Jersey, USA
Death: Feb. 5, 2012

Actor. Best remembered for playing Dan Fusco, proprietor of the Brooklyn paint and hardware store where John Travolta's character Tony Manero worked in the classic motion picture "Saturday Night Fever" (1977). Born and raised in Northern New Jersey (of no relation to Francis Ford Coppola), he chose to pursue an acting career and became a pupil of the legendary Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio. He found work initially in TV commercials and marked his film debut with an uncredited role in the Jack Smight picture "No Way to Treat a Lady" (1968), following this with "The Anderson Tapes" (1971), "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight" (1971) and the TV-movie "Honor Thy Father" (1973), among others. He had credits in such prominent TV series as "The Sopranos", "Law and Order" and "The Wire". He died from an aneurysm. (bio by: C.S.)
