Mother: Elizabeth Clark (Birth: 1734, Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA - Death: 4 Oct 1767, Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA; Burial: Lot 246, Grave 1, Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA)

Distant Cousin: John Adams

Note: Spent night with the John Adams family in their home, Braintree, MA

Buried: Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Middlesex, County, Massachusetts, USA (First person buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery)

Recollections: I was very impressed to read in one of our church journals the account of Hannah Adams, a distant cousin of John Adams. She actually visited the Adams home, and is listed as an early visitor to our church in Boston. My impression is that the congregants were uncomfortable with Ms. Adams' visit; Her interest in Comparative Religions, and in this case of the various denominations within Christianity, could have been a reason for her attending, as the Swedenborgian Church was in its infancy in America.
