The wedding of Miss Edith Mary Stafford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Arthur Stafford, of 158 Madison avenue (sic), to Galen W. Bear, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bear, of Carlisle, Pa., took place last evening at the home of her parents.

Edith S. Bear, 80, of Forest Park Health Center, formerly of 1 McClures Gap Road, Carlisle, died Thursday in the center.
She was born Sept. 1, 1910, in Elizabeth, N.J., a daughter of the late William A. and Edith Chapman Stafford.
She was a graduate of Battin High School, Elizabeth, N.J., and Vail-Deane Private School, Hillside, N.J. She was a retired employee of the Commonwealth National Bank, Carlisle Deposit Office. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are her husband, Galen W. Bear; two sons, Galen William of Camp Hill, and Dr. Edward S. of Statton, Maine; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Revs. James J. Ferguson and John L. Larson, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainfield Church of God Cemetery, West Pennsboro Township.
There will be no viewing.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of the service Monday at the funeral home.

CARLISLE - Edith S. Bear, 80, a resident of the Forest Park Health Center and formerly of 1 McClures Gap Road, died Thursday at the center.
She was retired from the Carlisle office of Commonwealth National Bank, a member of the Second Presbyterian Church of Carlisle and a graduate of Battin High School, Elizabeth, N.J., and Vail-Deane Private School, Hillside, N.J.
