Mrs. Edna Dickson Cook, 69, of 3034 Circle Way, wife of Newell B. Cook, died last night in the Dee Hospital-after an extended illness. Mrs. Cook 'was, born Sept- 12, 1889, in Richville, Morgan County, a daughter of William H.- and Martha Slade Dickson. On April 8, 1914, she was married to Mr. Cook, in the Salt, lake Temple. Mr. Cook was formerly Utah Fish and Game commissioner. They lived in Morgan County end Salt Lake City before coming to Ogden seven years ago. . . She was a member of the LDS Forty-first Ward Relief Society. She served as secretary of the Sunday School and secretary and president of the YWMIA in North Morgan Ward. Surviving are her husband, Ogden; a son, Lew Roy Cook, Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren, the following brothers .and sisters: John H. and Wilden Dicks'on, Mrs. Eliza Rich, all of Morgan,William E. Slade, Kaysville; Mrs. Hyrum (Lucy) Robbins, Ogden; LeRoy S. Dickson, Suite", Mont. "Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in ' Lindquist . and .Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel by Bishop Dan Van- Kampen.
