She was born in Hume, a daughter of Anthony Hantz and Savilla Spencer Hantz.

She married Lowell Denbo on Aug. 26, 1931. He preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1988.

Surviving are two children, Robert (Maureen) Denbo and Betty Lou McCoskey, both of Hume; five grandchildren, Tony Denbo of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeff Goddard of Cincinnati Ohio, Debrah Shepherd of Nitro, W. Va., Michael Low of Ogden and Marcelyn Ullom of Miami, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Kristie Kay Pacak of Lebanon, Ohio, Grace Low of Ogden and Daniel Low of Ogden; one great-great-grandson, Diondre Pacak of Lebanon, Ohio.
